In November 2019, our company signed a contract with Shanghai Yaohua Platinum Products Co., Ltd. for the refining and waste gas treatment of platinum. Each batch can refine 10-15 kg of platinum using glass-made reaction vessels and storage tanks. The entire refining process is transparent, easy to clean, and free from pressure. The reaction vessels and filtration equipment use vacuum cooling, making operations convenient. The exhaust design of the wind shelter includes a transparent push-open door and smoke ventilation boards inside the wind shelter, enabling complete gas abstraction.

The gases being treated include nitrogen oxide waste gas generated by the dissolution of niobium in platinum water solution and alkaline waste gas produced during the refining process. The nitrogen oxide waste gas is treated using two-stage bubble absorption, four-stage jet impact absorption, and one-stage acid spray. The alkaline waste gas undergoes two-stage acid spray treatment.

The project started production in January 2020 and has been operating successfully since then. In August 2020, Shanghai Yuhua signed a contract with our company for platinum refining and waste gas treatment.
