Waste Slag from Non-Ferrous and Precious Metal Smelting

This process is characterized by the following steps:

The waste slag discharged from the smelter is processed via wet screening in a trommel screen with water added to separate a small amount of impurities. The separated impurities are mostly contaminants mixed in during stacking, such as weeds and other large-size waste debris, which are collected separately for subsequent discharge and disposal.

The impurity-removed waste slag is fed into an agitation tank, where water and dispersant are added and fully stirred to obtain liquid slurry with a pulp concentration of 25%-30%. The dispersant used here is sodium silicate, also known as water glass.

The well-mixed liquid slurry is then delivered to a cone flotation machine for separation and recovery of valuable components.

This process opens up a new development path for China's non-ferrous metal smelting industry. It realizes full utilization of hazardous solid waste resources by turning waste into valuable resources, and achieves zero discharge and full recycling of resources. Featuring rational design, low investment, small floor footprint, quick commissioning and fast return on investment, it is a high-quality project that benefits both the country and the people.
